Ask your player to show you their VIRTUAL COMBINE page!
We are thrilled to partner up with Virtual Combine! Big things ahead for the Mustangs to help promote their players through #StraightLineRecruiting and to help their coaches make #DataDrivenDecisions! #buildyourbrand #RecruitGrapevine
1. Complete Your Profile - add as much information as you have to your player profile - Academics, Stats, Photos, Hudl, Twitter, Awards etc. The more complete your profile the more information that RECRUITING COACHES SEE! Make it easy for them!!!
2. Photos - Use a CLEAR Profile Photo. It could be a great shot of you in action on the field, individual team photo that was taken earlier in the year by a photographer or a photo a friend/family member took AS LONG AS IT IS A CLEAR PHOTO OF YOU IN UNIFORM. NO SELFIES TAKEN IN A BATHROOM MIRROR. If you need photos go check out our GHS Mustangs Football Smug Mug Page - https://ghsmustangsfootball.smugmug.com/ (downloading photos is FREE). There are TONS of action shots of all TEAMS!
3. Consistency - Make sure all information on your Virtual Combine player page is the same with what is on your HUDL and Twitter pages. For example, if you update your height & weight on HUDL be sure to update all it on VC and Twitter as well. If you update one page be sure to update them all.
4. SHARING Virtual Combine Player Profile LINK - add this link to all of the recruiting platforms that you use. Twitter, Hudl, any school recruiting questionnaires, camp registrations etc.
Well it’s been a couple weeks since we all had our hearts broken in Sweetwater. Our boys played so hard and so well. I just knew we were about to make one more play, kick a field goal and beat Cooper in overtime. Obviously, it was not our day but I wanted to let you know how much I do appreciate everyone’s efforts in making Team101 so special. As you all know, there was nothing easy about this football season. We all were battling together to make decisions that were best for our family and our team. We were blessed to be able to play 13 games without ever being shut down and I recognize that. This week we were able to spend a little time saying goodbye to our seniors. We did something a little different this year on our final day with our seniors. Typically, we allow our seniors to take the opportunity to say goodbye and leave the underclassmen with some advice and words of wisdom. This year we did that but we also took the time to let our coaches and underclassmen say words of affirmation to our seniors. Therefore, if you are a parent of a senior, I encourage you to ask your son what was said about him in our goodbye ceremony. Our senior class has meant so much to our coaches and our team. We will have one more awesome evening of celebration as we gather at AT&T Stadium Jan 23rd for our Team101 Banquet. This will be an incredible night of fellowship, appreciation and recognition. All of our players, 9th, JV and Varsity are all invited and will be honored appropriately.
